Whitetail. Amanda Moors is a wildlife biologist who lives in
Globe, Arizona. Currently, she has a wildlife consulting business
and has conducted recent projects with the U.S. Forest Service,
University of Arizona, Bureau of Land Management, local ranchers
and the San Carlos Apache Tribe. Amanda also teach classes on
wildlife identification and big game hunting at the Becoming an
Outdoorswoman workshops in Arizona.

Sportsmen for Fish & Wildlife
(SFW) is a non-profit wildlife conservation organization of

The Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation's mission is to
ensure the future of elk, other wildlife and their habitat. In
1984, four hunters from Troy, Montana, founded the Rocky Mountain
Elk Foundation to guarantee a wild future for North America's
grandest game animal.
The mission of the Arizona Elk Society is to raise funds to
benefit elk and other wildlife through habitat conservation and
restoration and to preserve our hunting heritage for present and
future generations.
The Arizona Desert Bighorn Sheep
Society was formed in 1967 as a single purpose organization
dedicated to the conservation and population enhancement of bighorn
sheep in Arizona. The Society has since grown to include over 1100
members and also works to preserve Arizona's growing herds of Rocky
Mountain bighorn sheep. When our organization started, sheep
numbers were in serious decline. Today, thanks to our efforts, we
are proud that the bighorn population has shown a five-increase
since 1967.
The Arizona Deer Association is a
non-profit conservation organization dedicated to improving habitat
and expanding Arizona's mule deer and Coues' deer herds. To fulfill
our mission, we raise funds from members, the public, and private
sources. These funds support projects, education, and programs that
directly benefit Arizona's deer herds and their habitat.
Established in 1992, the Arizona Antelope Foundation is
an organization dedicated to the welfare of pronghorn antelope. The
Foundation's Mission is to actively seek to increase pronghorn
populations in Arizona through habitat improvements, habitat
acquisition, the translocation of animals to historic range, and
public comment on activities affecting pronghorn and their
habitat.

The Wyoming Game and Fish
Department has roots all the way back to the 1890's. This
period in our history marks a major decline in the population of
wild game in the state of Wyoming due to unlimited harvesting
practices used by settlers. During that decade, the positions of
State Fish Warden (1890) and State Game Warden (1899) were
established to protect Wyoming's wildlife from dangers of over
harvesting.
The Nevada Department of Wildlife

restore wildlife and its habitat for their aesthetic, scientific,
educational, recreational, and economic benefits to citizens of
Nevada and the United States, and to promote the safety of persons

The California Department of Fish and
